Service Updates under Safer at Home Order

On March 24th, Governor Evers issued a “Safer at Home” order placing restrictions on activities of residents, businesses, schools and municipalities. To help residents, we have created an updated listing of service changes on our COVID-19 page.

In addition to the updates on our COVID-19 page which include service updates for every department, we have also added information to our website about changes within our Community Development Department, particularly for our Building Inspection Services.

Limited service will be provided by staff in the Planning & Zoning and Building Inspection areas in Village Hall. Only those services that can be conducted by mail, online or by telephone will continue to be provided to the extent working conditions and staffing will allow. On-site building inspections for new construction will continue to be provided to the extent that working conditions and staffing allow. However, certain types of inspections may be delayed or deferred. More details regarding Planning & Zoning Services are provided here. More details regarding Building Inspection Services are provided here.

To view our COVID-19 updates, you can go here. We will continue to update our COVID-19 page as information changes. In addition, we hope to soon include more resources including business information, social services, and even some restaurant carry out info.

Hang in there! We’re all in this together!
