Thank You from the Friends of Germantown Community Library!

The Friends of the Germantown Community Library would like to thank everyone who donated books to the library over the past year for the 20th Annual Friends Book Sale in March.

Dear Village Residents,

The Friends of the Germantown Community Library would like to thank everyone who donated books to the library over the past year for the 20th Annual Friends Book Sale in March. We hope you'll continue to donate books to the library over the upcoming months for next years Book Sale. We’d also like to thank everyone who came out to purchase books during the Book Sale; just over $8,000.00 was raised this year.

Funds raised from this Book Sale will go towards 4 kids summer reading programs, 5-6 computers for the library, the Purchase Art Award contest, supplies for the 1,000 books before Kindergarten program, and special projects at the library which are not covered by taxpayer dollars.

In 2018, the leftovers from the Book Sale have been donated to the Salvation Army, HOPE Network, Ozaukee Jail, Germantown Senior Center, St. Boniface Rummage, and Jackson Crossings Retirement Center.

We’d also like to thank Boy Scout Troop 271, Key Club, Germantown School District volunteers, and 50 community volunteers who helped with the Book Sale.

Finally, we’d like to thank the Village of Germantown, the Library Staff, the Public Works Department, and the Germantown Police Department for their continued support of the Book Sale.

We couldn’t have done this without you!

Thank you,

The Friends of the Germantown Community Library
